Audio Thru OP-1 Sample Engine

Anyone got this to work on the Field?

On Field you can use Vocoder and dial down the red param to absolute minimum. It’s not going to work exactly as the solution above, but this will pass “clean” input sound through the FX of the patch.

I do have to say, though, the original solution for OP-1 is ingenious. One note: the provided patch is probably the easiest way to go, but you can also use playback markets and set them around a near-zero part of some of the stock patches. That somehow works too. It’s the LFO that does the trick. The sample simply needs to stay quiet.

The vocoder solution works. However the gain is slightly lower.

Any other solution does not exist on the field, correct?

It would be so easy to just have the option in the input selector to tap on “3” and then set an effect for the input. Such a pity.

Regarding gain. Did you try setting the Vocoder patch to 100 volume in the shift+2 (shift + envelope) menu?
