Battle 47: A Linguistic Approach to ˈmjuzɪk - VOTE

@rudolphrapid I usually make my kickdrums using NITRO with LFO assigned to the cutoff parameter. Then I tweak the master EQ to my liking and maybe some DRIVE compression. PUNCH is a great FX for getting more low end, too. And last but not least the DRUM envelope can add some nice transient boost.

Furthermore I try to limit the frequency range of each element, so that kick, bass, melody/lead sounds and high percussions (hihats and stuff) don’t interfere. You can do that either when creating / tweaking the sounds or while recording / bouncing (with enabled EQ via EAR input).

Just try it in the next battle. If it still sounds strange, you’ll have the best excuse

Haha @motone  Thank you, too, for the useful tips!

Some lovely OP-1 music here!!
Glad I’m not forced to vote for any 1 as the standard is universally high.
This is another battle where all the entries exist as one cohesive whole and if I came across this EP in a vinyl shop I would buy instantly for the £9 or so.
Loved it.
Weird music month certainly warming up here
