Brand new op1 freezes on sketch sequencer

op1 that was just purchased freezes on sketch sequencer. it was my first time trying it and I instantly got the error message that I’m attaching here. should I reinstall the firmware, factory reset, or format drive?

on te website it says:
if the OS revision number at OP-1 startup is same or greater than the currently available download version, then you should not update

Marx was right. Long time ago i saw that sketch. Try a restart first.

ya i did and still get the error…

def would do a factory reset and // or format drive
factory reset does wonders
i do one every now and then just to keep things tidy.
