For me it works to build my own cases, I´ve built them with layers of birch ply. I can post some pictures later, feel free to show your local carpenter and ask them to build one for you :)
do you build from scratch or would you be able to provide a dxf file for a 3d printer?
Anyone know what happened to the company making the Pendeo Monolith cases for the op-1/iPad combo? They looked great and a cool concept. But now nothing. Sold out and no email response. shame, really want one

I build from scratch. More of a carpenter than a programmer
Oh and that one is cubed foam, so dead easy to fit to the OP-1 size!
Really? I called them up and asked today and they said no, that particular one isn’t cubed, b/c it’s too thin (30mm) and it’s designed to just place your object in and have it cushioned. But you say you got cubed foam…the plot thickens.
I have the Unit Portables case, and it’s kind of worth every penny really. The op1 goes everywhere with me, so it was worth the £40 I paid for it. Plus I managed to grab a Unit Portables shoulder laptop bag so you can hook em all together to make for a nice little portable set up. I would recommend it - my case is like 2 years old and is still great.
