I have latest OS installed, and simply added this patch. It worked 100%

Thanks!!!

Awesome, glad there’s finally an easy solution for others to try out iter and filter!

@TabascoEye: I didn’t know it was so obvious, as I didn’t see anyone else mention it. Thought I’d share the knowledge, so that others could enjoy.

Thanks again. Will check out that hidden stuff ASAP

This is amazing, is there anyone who could load the filter onto a drum patch for us to play with?

Or am I missing something extremely obvious?
Thanks either way.

@nonsym I think this should do it, let us know how it goes!

BTW, The LFO is super fun in drum mode, with the filter effect!

@TabascoEye Can you post the images for the Deadmau5 and Animal finger sequencers or does that infringe on TE’s property. By the way, I’m new here and to the OP-1 scene in general.

I’m not too familiar with the SVG format, but would you just be able to send the Deadmau5 or Animal head for us to edit on to the base image?

@jAKEjAPAN thanks a bunch. Both patches work the way you all explained.

iter definitely seems like a WIP
filter is definitely a nice alternative to what Nitro already offers.
crazy times.

Are we also working on getting Apetape working? Does anyone have any progress on that?

Apetape will not be happening. Iirc even the svg is removed from 218

@TabascoEye I mean in an old firmware.

Even if i achieved the Italian version of Senior High School Degree in Information Technology i did not understand too much ;(( … i really liked to help whatsoever. Particurarly in opie that seems stopped to me and it’s a shame … Is maybe any other way to help like donations? If everybody knews of these projects you would receive more support for sure… Isn’t it?

Could someone please upload a drum patch with filter on?

I could not get this one to work. It shows up with the synth snapshots, not the drum snapshots.

Simply place it in the drum folder, not on the synth folder. It worked for me

What I can’t find is a way for Filter to show up in the master FX…

@bichuelo I believe you’ll have to mod the op1_factory.db database in the firmware to get Filter to show up in master FX. I can’t think of a workaround for that. I gave a description of how to do so via the command-line a couple pages back. It’s pretty straight forward, I’m happy to help troubleshoot if you run into any issues.

wonderful share!

Great!!
I just used both patches, they're great! iter is interesting, and the filter is definitely useable and generally more utility than Nitro.

I'm a total n00b when it comes to anything programming, but is there a way for someone knowledgable (i.e. not me) to do the firmware unpacking/modding/repacking, and then offer the firmware up for download somewhere? Or is it specific to each individual unit?
