please tell me you can dim the volume led on the xy somehow. Its surprisingly brighter than my fields volume led
COM — SYSTEM — “brightness” and “led brightness” does not seem to effect the volume led brightness

the vertical light stripe on the very right of the device; the last bit of it at the top is red
Oh, the level meter. There’s no adjustment for it as far as I know.
in the past when it wasn’t possible from the device
i’ve put either a lil blue tape over the offending leds
(easy to remove, doesn’t leave any marks)
or opened it up and put a lil parchment paper inbetween
or i’ve also swapped out the current limiting resistor
for a larger one too
to soften the brightness
Me opening and tinkering with the electronics of the xy (or field) feels like a bad idea for me 
– that being said; I’m curious how difficult that would be. Couldn’t find a teardown video so far tho
