Help pls: How to use OP1 as midi input on my DAW

I know this is not necessarily what the OP1 is for but as it is supposed to send Midi via USB and has a mode for it it should be capable to be used as Midi-Keyboard … or am I missing something? Do I need any drivers for this to work with my DAW? I am using reaper and I can’t seem to get any Signal from the OP1 in my DAW (connected via the original USB Cable set to MIDI Mode).

Sorry for the bad English and or terminology used and thank you for your help.

no drivers
just match the midi channels
and set it up however u would normally set up a midi controller in reaper
should be good to go
