Is there some way to have an empty sample in a preset slot for either synth or drum mode? It seems like it only allows me to load an existing sample and then record over it.
For example if I press button 1 and then do shift + track 1 I can go to sampler but I need to select an existing sample instead of being able to start with nothing
just FYI, in case u are not aware
u are not actually recording over the existing sample.
your samples get loaded to the 1-8 hot keys
which have their own corresponding .aiff files
and then those are the ones that get edited or recorded over or whatever
your original sample or kit will remain in its original form
in addition to recording over an existing sample
u could also create an empty one and have that saved in one of your preset folders
to load whenever u please
