Yet another probably obvious but unbeknownst to me until a-ha moment…i have put LFOs on drums before, for a warped, pitch warbler effect but I tend to like my drums a little straighter now. But this might be handy for people struggling with the Op1 sequencers groove/swing.
I found it tricky getting rolls not to sound robotic and sterile, so I made sterile, robotic music until I figured this out. Tremolo Lfo, green at 0, blue at 4 or 5, white to taste. On the one shots in the drum kiT the effect will be modest to minimal, but the rolls really get pushed and pulled in interesting ways, not sterile or robotic at all.
