Loose knobs

Hi everyone,
I bought this OP-Z in January from eBay, worked perfectly until the past week the knobs felt like popping out until I tilt the unit and completely fell off the unit. See the image attached

Is anybody experiencing the same issue? I contacted TE but they asked me for proof of purchase in order to get a warranty.
