Match sequencer bpm to loop from radio etc?

Is tap tempo the only way of doing this inside OP without going to DAW to tidy up the loop and find exact bpm etc? Or is there a workaround where I can record a loop to tape and somehow have the grid/bpm snap to loop start/end points?

Once you get relatively close using tap tempo, record 4 bars into Endless. Provided that the 1 beat of your sample starts exactly when you hit the key. Then you can run Endless and dial in the tempo tight. Then record to tape.
