My Tape Track are all clear but they keep playing music

I cleared all my tracks on the tape, but it doesn’t seem to erase. Anyone have any suggestions

It’s a glitch that happens from time to time. Figure out which track it’s on (it’s like “ghost” audio that does actually still exist on a track), record over it, and lift that recording. Should remove the audio.

Or record silence else where. Lift that, then drop in over the glitch.

This is very frustrating. It says “ERASE TAPE? 1234 Pres all track keys 1-4 to start erasing process”, but does nothing. Is there some magic key I’m supposed to press after 1234 to start the erasing process? Obviously I’m a total rookie here, but have scoured the manual and have found nothing. All four tracks.

1+2+3+4 at the same time doesn’t do it for you, @CBric ?

Maybe try to connect via usb and erase the content of the tape directory ?

make sure you press 1234 on the left, not on the 1-8 buttons

Good idea. Those keys should be labeled T1, T2 or something like that…
