The new series cost more because some of the software is licensed from sonic charge, and they are more powerful. Don’t expect them to be 49$€£ any time soon.
Wasn’t complaining about the price (still seems like a bargain for all they’re able to do in a tiny package). Just asking, as I haven’t followed the POs that closely in the past.

Since the op-z doesn’t look like it will happen anytime soon, I was thinking of putting the money I set aside and buying one or two of these “metal series” ones. They sound great! Just to get something cleared up though, can we now play semitones or are they still fixed in the key of C?
