Nodebeat and OP-1

Has anyone gotten NodeBeat to play nice w/ their OP-1? I go theough all setup, but it seems it will not trigger notes on OP.

Eager to be distracted from some tedious work I downloaded NodeBeat today :slight_smile:


The way I got it to work was using MIDI Bridge. The OP-1 and iPad are connected to a small hub. In MIDI Bridge (https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/midibridge/id449160859?mt=8) connect NoteBeat to OP-1 out.

One issue with Nodebeat seems to be that if you route out to MIDI it turns the internal sounds of NodeBeat off so all you can hear are the OP-1 instrument. Remember to map your incoming midi channel for the OP-1 using shift-com, hold down shift and blue encoder

Huh. I know it sends fine to other, on-board iOS apps. Wonder why NodeBeat would require Midibridge? I use things like Auxy & Chordion w/ my OP all of the time.

I love the organic NB workflow.
