OP-1 - capture and replay/export MIDI as well as audio

We all know the OP-1 is a great self-contained device for creating compositions when you travel.


However, when you get back to your DAW, you may wish to use some of the composition with non-OP-1 patches.

Now, you can store other stuff (like OP-1 patch parameters) on the virtual tape.

Am I the only one who would like the ability to capture a “MIDI events” representation of each track for later replay as a DAW controller or export into the DAW?

Perhaps there’s another way to do this and I just haven’t realised.

The problem is that no midi data is recorded to the tape tracks, but if you keep you sequences then you can then record the midi data into an external sequencer.
