OP-1 drum utility reverse workflow

Hi,

Does anyone know if it would be possible to sample audio into an op-z drum kit, chop it to different keys on the device and then back it up a computer to be loaded into the drum utility and then exported as individual wavs or even aiffs?

The goal being to create samples to be loaded into a one shot sample player like a TR-8s or a model:sample.

Is there a way to make it work backwards?

Have you tried doing what you describe? Sounds like it might just work.
