i've never even seen this VST version…? i'm on mac maybe standalone is mac only? i don't really know.
when u drop your files have u tried dropping them into the rectangle slots? not just the "Drop Files/Folder here" space..?
okay i found the mac VST within the standalone app. single files work for me when dropping in either spaces.
drum utility hosting within Live i think 32-bit. maybe your issue is w/ 32 vs 64 bit?

here are 2 tips for win 64x users trying to get the 32x vst to work. you can either:
1) use the demo of jbridge. https://jstuff.wordpress.com/jbridge/
20 minutes should be enough for getting some drum kits together
2) use this 32/64bit vst host http://www.hermannseib.com/vsthost.htm
download the vsthostx86.zip prog is pretty self explanatory even though its in german. and it lets you host 32bit vst plugs on your 64bit system easily.
however I still got the issue that I can’t drag’n’drop single files. I’m on win7. will try to reload the plugin and see if its helps.

The fix is essentially to hop over to op-1 fun and get your kits done there with the new interface. I still have the issues with the plug in and therefore I hardly use it.
