OP-1 Field update for 2025?

Anyone else still having connectivity issues via USB and Bluetooth to other devices since the update? So far the only device I’ve had it detect via USB is my OP-Z. It doesn’t detect my iPad or Digitone.

That’s unfortunate to hear

What is your main DAW? Cubasis and/or AUM (that is my personal pair too but I have a few others I use)

I will try it out for you this week /weekend on both…however, last time I tried : I was able to send the audio out of op1Fs tracks (t1-t4) to 4 separate channels in AUM and Cubasis

Glad to hear others using iOS + Te

Since the 1.6.5 update I’ve been sending audio from the OP-1f to AUM on my iPad, via USB, with no issues. The recordings sound excellent. My iPad is Pro 4th gen. with OS 17.6.1. I’m using the white USB cable that came with the OP-1f. Maybe try another USB cable?

If I’m using just my iPad with AUM sending out tracks from 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, and returning them back into op-1f via tracks 1/2…..how are yall not getting double sounds that are “flanging”?

the output of the tracks is also still summing in the op-1f mixer section so it would be nice to say send them out and take them out of the op-1f mixer.

Connecting my OP-1F to the MPC Live III over USB instantly crashes the 1F here the second I insert the USB-C cable.

This may be a live 3 problem- someone else was reporting the same. I can connect to my live 1 no probs on 1.6.5. Have you tried plugging into the regular usb sockets on the live 3?

I don’t have any non USB-C cables anymore

I use FL Studio Mobile it’s great except after updates… get a working version and don’t update; but I digress :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: good thing you asked me because I figured it out.. it’s a problem on the end of FL! Cubasis works fine and seems like a good option, which I’m gonna explore until a fix from ImageLine…

And the bug with small audio part left on tape without removable take on UI (invisible audio junk) is back again.

My own recollection is that this would happen on rare occasions on the original OP-1. The solution for me was to record a short bit of something over the invisible audio and then cut this out. The invisible audio is then cut with this new audio.

I’ve not had the problem on the Field so I can’t say if this works.

I know this bug from OP-1 OG times and that is the state TE left that device in forever. And you’re right with the workaround you described. However it’s not possible to check the state of the tape every time after lifting a take. The invisible audio junks on the tape is a fundamental bug.

I’ve never experienced the bug with the audio tape remnants. What exactly happens? Is there audio left in the empty space after lifting and dropping a piece of tape somewhere else? Does it appear at the end of the vacated space or does it show up in the middle while recording over the empty space on the tape?
