Did this little OP-1 3-beat tape routine this morning
Hey pals,
My missus and I did a live cover of The Cure’s “Just Like Heaven” using the OP-1, and a Nintendo DS for “scratching” solo at the end…
We recorded it with the Zoom H1 in a park with the OP-1 playing through a Sony XB-30 speaker… I’m happy with the sound, considering how simple the setup is.

This is my latest OP-1 tune. I teamed it up with it’s new best friend, the Critter and Guitari Organelle, and sequenced/played a load of heavily processed autumnal field-recording samples on them.

Thought I’d try something I’ve never done in 5 years of OP-1 ownership; a cover version. Here’s a version of “To Have And To Hold” by Depeche Mode. Created entirely within the OP-1 with no external production or mastering.
