I made a little beat and rapped one line via the sampler. Love recording voices on this. The performance is pants however lol
this is great !!!
what do you thing about the cambridge speaker? i read, that it sounds nice, but the sound “sticks” to the case … not very “room filling”
Thanks!
I really like the Cambridge. As a portable speaker it rocks. Nice low end. I use it to jam in anywhere in the house.

I’ve been messing with the OP-1 since July, I guess it was time to
finally record something! A bit clumsy but hey… it’s my first. I hope you enjoy!https://youtu.be/gj-0ap_WiDA

Wonderfully done. It gets particularly pretty around the 1min mark when the synth comes in. Also, it’s beautifully shot.

My OP-1 has a cameo part here, but it’s the best parts. Bless that white, orange, green, and blue music machine of goodness
A particularly great, groovy performance.

Left the desk for a few minutes.
This is what I found once back.

I’m concerned for myself. They’re way better at it than me.
Actually, this little session learned me the way to use Tombola as a MIDI sequencer to generate random sequences on the Monomachine.
But I don’t think they were aware they were producing the sound
Maybe.
Edit : I had some precisions this morning
They knew they were the source of music, that each dot is a note and that they can produce different notes with different key (my son has been learning piano for a year now)
And the aim of the game was to capture a lonely dot, which seems obvious now that I know it.
The beauty of it is precisely the fact that only one note is staying, giving some musicality to what was a chaotic mess.
I will reuse this technique for sure !
Check out a remix of one of my favorite tracks.
Love to collab with anyone! Give me a follow, shoot me a message.

Session using my mpc2500, op-1 and some other bits and pieces.
Made at an airport not too long ago, OP-1 is truly a must take for you traveling musicians out there!
