PO-32 Tonic Sound and Pattern Sharing

I've tried to find sound files everywhere but with no luck. have anybody else seen something?

I’ve gone as far as asking if the microtonic forum wants to share some sounds. Nothing so far. Magnus is going to come up with some sounds so that’ll be a start. There’s no real motivation for anyone with microtonic to share any sounds but it’ll happen eventually. The way of the internet an’ all that.

All right! Guess we have to what for Magnus kits

I have Microtonic and PO-32.

I’d love to share you some sounds, just haven’t taken this time yet (a bit short of it lately)
Thing is so far I haven’t synthesized the “wow” kit
With Patternarium it’s so easy to switch to something else in Microtonic, taylor it to your needs, load in the PO-32, mess with it, and so on.

Once you can treat yourself with this software, do it ! Much fun

I’ll try to get you something during the weekend.

BTW…

Go to Patternarium, look for something you like, send me the link : I’ll get the audio out of MT and post it !

Here are 3 tonic patches.

I did it quick and dirty, these are not ace patches : just took some Pattarnarium patterns and had a quick retuning…

Thank you so much man! Very gentle. Cheers

It works!

I love it. Even if the outside world is around, when the data signal is loud enough, PO-32’s mic gets it

Something I love is that you are able to back up your patterns as well using the audio data, even if the included kits aren’t changed. This is great enough, isn’t it?

Yes indeed !

Being able to fine tune your sounds, and back them up (as well as complete patterns) is really awesome !

There is only one aspect missing in PO-32 to be really perfect : incoming midi control !
Would have been really great to plock the hell out of this little beast.

This one is an absolute keeper !

Thanks for offering to do this. I hope 3 isn't too many? If you can do any one of these I'll be happy.

mind posting links to the original files from which you made these?

I haven’t kept the links but the names are the same I think.
I’m away from home right now, can’t do much

someone starts sharing some patches on soundclound…

just the factory sounds for now, but he may add some more later
stay tuned

found these two presets on soundcloud.

Thanks for that find!

I tried them both and liked more the second one, however I had to normalize it because it has a very low level.
I noticed the SC user anyway, but I thought I should’ve do it here as well

I’ve got a couple of data files that are for some PO32 performances I put up on youtube. The patches have a few quirks due to them being designed for these specific tunes, but people may still find them fun to play with. The patches are also geared more towards melodic/harmonic sounds rather than percussive, so they’re useful in some ways, but pretty limiting in others.

Anyway, here are the data files:

Gonzohj, I have a few tracks I’m working on with the PO-32 and once I’m happy with them I’ll definitely share the patches.
