It’s time for your POs to step into the ring and put up a fight.
In the red corner…PO-33 K.O!
In the blue corner…PO-??
Rules:
-make a beat using the PO-33 + another PO of your choice (If you don’t have another one only use the PO-33, shadowboxing’s alright)
-use a sample of a song that has the word “fight” in its title or bandname
( https://www.ranker.com/list/the-best-songs-with-fight-in-the-title/ranker-music )
-use no other equipment, or postproduction
-post the link to your beat in this thread (mentioning which song you sampled)
As deadline I suggest the 15th of May
Hope you enjoy the challenge and we’ll hear many beats!
Thanks for setting this up, raring to go here. Just a couple of questions though. Is only raw PO audio allowed (no cutting/pasting or re-arranging in a DAW)? How about overall compression/limiting, or a dash of global reverb for sweetening?

Thanks for joining!
I’d say let’s keep it simple, only PO and record it as it is from the output. Limitations make it more exciting
Cool, a nice level playing field it is then (or boxing ring I guess…)
Hello people. Here’s my entry for the battle. Instrument samples taken from the track “Six Months Later + Dogfight” from the Isle Of Dogs movie soundtrack (great film btw). Vocal samples from the film Big Hero 6. Only PO-33 was used, all the others were too chicken. Hope you enjoy…
Thanks a lot for taking part to everybody, we have now officially doubled the numbers of the last battle
4 more days left, maybe we can get some more people to join in.
Would be nice if we could regularly do some PO-battles. It’s fun!
Here comes my entry for this battle. I cheated a bit with the rules. Did’nt used a song with the word “fight” in it. I sampled “The Rumble” from the West Side Story. Rumble is kind of a synonyme for fight. Made with the PO33.
