I have an Empress Reverb and an OTO BAM arriving next wednesday. Because I simply couldn’t embrace the concept of ‘Big Sky or Empress or BAM’ and thought that ‘and’ is the answer. 
Kidding aside, I’m selling a bunch of fx boxes, including a Strymon Timeline because the way I see this, amazing reverbs are more musical than amazing delays. To me they definitely are. So soon the Big Sky will be joined by the competition only to start living together as a happy family.

I now own the full Roland AIRA line (minus the VT-3), i.e. system-1, mx-1, tr-8, tb-3, plus a JD-Xi since my last post here. I’m thinking about adding the System-8 and JD-XA in the coming months.

Bought a Nintendo DS XL + Korg DSN12. Geez Luise, this little app is awesome. Bought a JBL Xtreme as well. The app, my trusty Kaoss Pad Mini, plus the mobile speaker is a nice mobile techno/trance set up.

Oh yes, I’m just like that, you know. And I’m also like “oh, here’s this BAM fella, appears to be so lonely, so why not get her sis, BIM?” I just had to do this, I really had to. Because BIM-BAM sounds way better than just BAM. That’s all. I’m glad I had enough fx stompoxes to sell in order to raise funds for the new trio (BIM-BAM-Empress Rev.).

(So I popped into the local thrift store on payday for the rare afore mentioned cassette and saw this baby going for a song (¥55,000) so I picked it up too). Absolutely don’t need it but always wanted a drum synthesizer.

I got struck down with man flu last week and my sleep pattern is more weird than the Mungo Jerry’s aesthetics in the video “In the Summertime”. Last night, about 3am, I got up to see where I could fit this badboy into my setup. Once configured I had to turn it on and have a little play 
Straight off the bat I was solid gone! The basic stuff is simple to use which brought me delight … ill… at 3am

I couldn’t believe it. I had to pinch myself. I even got up in the middle of the night to check it was the UW+ mk2.
There was one on eBay that reached the dizzy heights of ¥100,000 and has maybe gone beyond now.
I think it’s worth mentioning, I tried to get the guy in the thrift store to lower the price and haggled lol
I’m enjoying the machine but I had some midi issues when I was jamming last night. I’m yet to rtfm as I like to dick around and see what happens until I get stuck.
