I think you mean synthesizer? (More like a voice engine) I don’t know how this could be considered a drum machine besides the “Rhythmicon” name.

Invented by Leon Theremin, who also invented the (you guessed it!) Theremin. Each note on the keyboard plays a multiplied clocked version based on low C. So, it is sort of a synth and sort of a drum machine. Pretty much a rhythmic note generator. I’ve always been curious to hear it in action, so thank you for posting this! It might be time to see if this can be implemented on Arduino now…
