Can’t go wrong with a 404. Grab OG if you want that vinyl sim. Besides that I’d say they’re all pretty much the same (some slightly better functionality on the sx tho) and just go for best deal you can find.
Same experience here re (what might be considered to be) expensive gear seeming to break worse than cheaper stuff. The only gear I’ve ever had serious issues with in the first year have been my Op1 and AK. Whereas I have a ton of sub-£400 purchases that are still going strong after 10 years… Probably not accurate of things overall tho and I’ve just been unlucky/lucky.
