Been noticing something and wondering if anyone else has. When I record a track at 1:1 tape speed and slow it down to track into logic, the tempo it states in the op1 doesn’t match the clock in logic. For example this track I’m working with says 77.6 in the OP but the click matches in Logic at more like 78.5… weird…
I’ve had weird stuff like this before. Can’t remember exact info but think I have a few op tapes where some loops haven’t been exact tempo after import files to Daw. They were tiny bit out like the way you describe yours.
Yes had that problem too . Like you said, You can generally find the bpm that matches if you are able to do decimal points/fine tune bpm
