How about playing the OP1 with an external keyboard? the Akai MPK mini has got a sustain / hold function, so perhaps i could connect it to the OP1. I know i can do this via my laptop and ableton but i’m already using my laptop live for other things (logic mainstage and max/msp) so cant actually run ableton. Is there a standalone way to make a USB midi keyboard talk to the OP1? Some usb hub perhaps…?
(ps - dont have any ios devices, otherwise that looks to be the obvious choice!)
