I guess I shouldn’t have posted a fuzzy word like ‘shimmer’. What I meant was something like this:

Well, not exactly, of course. But both of those pads have pretty noticeable high frequencies.
Although, I sort of glad that I was vague, because I got a lot of really cool ideas to play with in response.
To post something constructive as well: I found a way to “tame” cluster. Normally, it has a kind of click in the attack phase, and you need to make attack very long to fix that. However, you can bind its green parameter (bar height) to envelope and set it to 0 by default. This provides very smooth attack without it being too slow.
