I’ve been suffering with my OP-1 Unit Portables case bouncing inside my current backpack, so I’ve been looking to get a new backpack. I wish the Unit Portables 18/02 was in stock, I really like the “modular” approach using the loops to attach different pouches.
So far I found 2 (not very cheap) alternatives:

What I would really like on a backpack is for it to have these loops on the inside, but maybe that’s too much to ask for. Also, General Backpack Thread.
I actually just ordered this…
That one looks nice, I like the small compartment for charger and cables, which are also always bouncing inside my backpack.
Does anyone else attach straps to the modular bottons on the Unit Portables OP-1 case? I wear mine like a backpack every now and then.
i would love an alternative to the op1 softcase. maybe the price will come down some more. Id for sure snag one at $50. but $80 to $100 is way to much for some fabric. for me… i really want that case though. all mine are so bulky and take up the majority of my backpack. looking forward to the opz it seems so small and flat ill be happy to bring it everywhere in just a sleeve.

There are photos of it in the Marketplace thread.
@masterofstuff124 I bought mine from Reverb for $60 USD free shipping. Just made them an offer telling them Pitbull Audio were offering me a deal of 63 USD + Free shipping (which was true). Here’s the link to the item in the specific store (Chicago Music Exchange): http://rvrb.io/op-1-soft-case-e5s
The OP-1 in its soft case (official case) fits beautifully in my ebags backpack I posted above. I can get my 13" macbook, iPad pro, OP-1, and cables for everything and still have room to spare. Might have enough room left in the bottom for a camera. Its a fantastic bag. And if you don’t want to carry as a backpack it has a handle on the side. You can carry as a briefcase which is what I’ve done the last couple days to work.
I have a couple goruck bags but never attach the unit portables case to the webbing in the bag. The UP webbing is not standard and doesn’t fit anything but UP bags perfectly.
My OP1 basically lives in the laptop compartment of my Timbuktu messenger bag. In its case, of course.
When flying, I’ve attached the UP OP-1 Case to the Molle webbing on the side of my black 5.11 day pack.
Fits and blends in real nice!
