Tracks encode and tagging

Hello everybody,

I know there are a lot of artists here :), and I wondered how you encode your tracks/EP/albums (file format …), and if you used to, how you are tagging them ?
I only know MP3Tag for tagging, it works well, but operators are resourceful,so maybe you know something much better ?

I take the uncompressed wav files into audacity for compression, then tag them from there.

I’ve never tried this with Audacity :). Is it possible to add pictures ?

Not sure to be honest. Never really occurred to me haha. I'll have a bash tonight and see.

I just use iTunes.

Do op1ers use Bandcamp ? It seems to tag files automatically :smiley: and nicely ! … And encoding quality is pretty much better than soundcloud !)
