Just stumbled onto this tutorial video:
At about 5:45, they talk about the Tape track, specifically mentioning the ability to select which tracks are being sent to tape (looks like Shift + [Track Button(s)]). Tape tricks then operate on those isolated elements.
They’re able to do some cool things to the synth/melodic elements without interrupting the rhythm tracks. Pretty cool IMHO. I couldn’t find this documented on the TE guide website. Thought this might be useful to y’all…
