Born and raised in NYC, now living near New Haven, CT. I am not a trained musician but consider myself an artist. I have been more expressive and creative in the graphic realm, photography more specifically. I’ve been teaching myself and trying to learn how to create beats first with an MPC and then using Ableton Live and a MIDI controller. Now I’m learning how to use an Elektron’s Machinedrum SPS-1 UW+ MKII, Octatrack MKII, and of course the wonderful - OP-1. I am excited and overwhelmed at the same time. It is also challenging for me, like many of you - I have a job, like to sleep, and have family life, all competing for time.
