30 mins of wobbly VHS tape artifact music

Made a new song, w. visuals, "Behemoth".

This sounds/looks great. Love the constant changes etc and atmosphere. Will listen to the whole thing later today.

Out of curiosity is the wobbly effect from twisting op-1 speed while recording? I keep meaning to try that out… This video/track sounds too extreme in its pitch instability for it to be from a real tape source? But it sounds very cool anyway. Would like to get some of the same kind of vibe on some of my stuff without having to use a vst chain in daw/pedals (hassle to swap em round from my guitar board…).
Thanks.

@callofthevoid thanks for the comment!! sorry for being misleading, but this song is done in Renoise, so no use of the OP-1…

Thanks for the info. Never checked out renoise. Seems like a lot of the OG dudes rate it. Will have a look sometime… Great track

i have worked in renoise for (whoa) 11 years, i have nothing but praise for it  but ive also worked in trackers since the 90’s. it might be a little steep to get comfortable, but it’s very powerful, and full of options; it’s how i keep my gear GAS at bay; by mimicing what sound i hear and like. happy to hear you enjoyed the track

Here's 30 minutes of eery VHS artifact music, with a glitchy 3D animated video to it.
