A buzz (distortion) sound from the speaker is occurring in a specific sound range (low range).

I recently purchased the OP-1 Field.

However, I’m experiencing speaker buzz (distortion) at specific low frequencies.

Could you please check the video links to confirm?

It’s vibrating quite noticeably.

I’m wondering if this is a defect or if it’s just me.

I loaded up the same patch as you (Cermon, I think) and I’m hearing a buzzing when I crank the volume up a lot, though it’s very hard for me to tell if it’s the same type of distortion as your recordings.

I know very little about this sort of thing–is it possible we’re just hearing the speakers’ normal response to lower frequencies played at a higher gain? I’m curious if others are hearing the same thing.

dont worry that is normal. certain ranges in the very low register are just oscillating in a range that causes some rattling/buzzing. if you look at the specs of the speaker, the freq range has a lower cutoff and any lower than that the oscillations will be more noticeable in the chassis
