TE should design their own MIDI keyboard/controller in the style of the OP-1 or OP-XY. I understand they don’t want competing products, but a more accessible, portable TE-original keyboard with great connectivity would definitely sell. Even if it’s priced higher than other options.
Anyone else think this would be a good addition to the TE-lineup?
Probably a good idea considering TE’s design innovations. However, I have an Arturia Keystep 37 and it didn’t cost much at all and does everything I want it to. Changing midi channels is REALLY easy - press SHIFT and the key representing the midi channel. These are clearly marked. This is the most hassle-free means of doing that, that I have seen and it is probably the thing I do the most. Also, it has both midi and CV/Gate for my modular and semi-modular stuff, as well as a sequencer, chord functions, etc. I can’t imagine anything that would cause me to switch.
