All Key Combinations and Functions of OP-1

In tape mode 4 (on the 1 to 8 keys) halts the playback but the tape still moves. Combined with the left and right arrow while you hold down 4 you get instant fast forward once you release the 4 key again

I was also curious about the “dot” on shift+drop. After reading the manual and googling, i ended here, none the wiser. Has anybody found a function using “SHIFT”+“DROP”?

I like to use the tape recorder to build up layered sounds on all four tracks which I can then shift + lift and drop into a sampler or drum machine preset to work on further. (Resampling is lots of fun on an OP-1.) It took me a while to figure out that you have to have looping turned on in the tape recorder in order to lift all the tracks into memory when you want to use shift + lift to drop sounds into the sampler or a drum machine. If you don’t have looping turned on only the track you were in gets lifted.

Stop + Rec = Step Rec

But I have no clue how to use this or what to expect.
