Heyo! Attempting to route my OP-XY and Waldorf Blofeld into the two midi out ports on T-1 (OUT 2 has been turned on in config).
Each device successfully sends note data when plugged in one at a time, however only Blofeld (not OP-XY) sends midi notes when both are plugged in.
OP-XY does send midi notes together with Blofeld when connected via USB-C and when it is routed through a MIDI USB hub, however I would prefer to use dual TRS and take advantage of the two OUT ports.
Any suspicion why both TRS midi out ports aren’t working together in this case? Cheers!
Oops, I mistakenly said that each device sends note data but meant to say that each device separately receives note data (from T-1), however they do not receive data (do not output audio) when both are plugged in. When both are plugged in, only notes to Blofeld seem to be sent and midi notes to OP-XY are not received.
I would essentially like to sequence both devices on the T-1, but feel like there’s something I might be overlooking in settings on either T-1 or OP-XY. Thanks!
couple things u could try to narrow it down
if u switch which midi out port the two are connected to is it always the xy that doesn’t work? or is it always the same port that doesn’t work?
do both ports work w only one device hooked up?
u could also hook these midi outs up to a midi monitor app on your computer or phone/tablet and see if the midi is actually being sent and received
this would help u figure out where the problem lies and maybe which end to focus on
