I’ve just been playing with a preenfm2. They are fun! But I can’t make the op1f see it over usb.
The preenfm works great over usb with Ableton. The op1f works great with many other devices over usb. The cable is fine.
No notes get sent to the preenfm from the op1f and it doesn’t appear in the list of named connected midi devices on the op1f.

I’d be delighted and yet agonised to hear if anyone else has successfully connected these two over usb.
I have a preenfm2 and preenfm3 - I can try it this weekend unless someone else does it first - probably going to struggle to find time before then.

Works fine with my preenfm3 but couldnt get it to work with the preenfm2 (which works fine from my laptop over usb as well as DIN MIDI). The preenfm3 was listed as a device on the op1f but the preenfm2 wasn’t.
Preen FM 2 not a USB host. Surprising that FM 3 is. You can get around this with a box like the Retrokits RK-006.
