Arpeggiator keeps playing when switching patterns

Hello Cats,

First time poster here, I got the OP-Z a few months back and am starting to grow fond of it more and more.

My issue is the following: My Arpeggiator keeps playing for a little while when switching patterns, even though in the 2nd pattern there is no input on that instrument. The sound does switch from pattern 1 to 2.

Am I missing something or…?

Delay?

Pattern finishing off the bar?

Look up note length and how to change it on the OP-Z, and hold down a step and shorten the last note held on the arp channel perhaps?
