Ask OP-Forums: who's interested in track replication howto-threads using a specific (OP*) device?

Quite often when I want to improve my OP-XY skills (well.. ‘skills’) I pick a track I like and start to clone it or parts of it. Examples include Daft Punk, Royksopp, Der Dritte Raum, you name it..

That’s nothing new, and I guess lot’s of you did something like this already, and there are millions of examples on Youtube.

The good thing about this approach is, you don’t get stuck in doing what you’re already capable of over and over again, but you’re forced into implementing specific elements and you have a way to compare your output.

But very often I wonder whether I’ve already found the ‘best’ way to do something, e.g. replicating the specific character of Daft Punk’s ‘Da Funk’. Did I choose the right synth engine? How exactly do the LFOs behave?

What I’d like to see is a collection of “How Tos” for specific selected tracks on specific (TE) devices.

E.g: “Howto: Da Funk on OP-XY”. We have hundreds of well-made hands-on examples on YT already, of course. Special recommendation: Captain Pikant

But what I’m missing is the interactive team effort of a community like OP-Forums’. What I’d like to see is a project thread for a specific piece with the goal to find the best way to replicate certain aspects of a known track on a given device.

In case I’m not alone with this idea/need (let me know), I try to spend some time and come up with an example (just don’t want to waste our time with something, only I’m interested in)
