I’ve got a question, I’ve used 2 slumps from the OP synths, and I’m afraid it’s gonna be overloaded if I add another OP-1 synth.

What do you mean, overloaded ? Like to much of the same sound ?
One can get pretty different results out of Slump, just playing with the parameters and envelopes, I felt… Don’t you think so ?
You don’t need to choose another synth, just in case Slump is not enough for your music! I usually use too many different engines… @quarantequatre

@mixrasta Alright ! Since I’m playing with the OP-1 I’m trying to reduce the number of synths
After a long time having trouble understanding the point of the Slump synth, I though I would try this challenge and force myself into it since so many people here speak so highly of it

Here’s my entry. I really like Slump as an engine - it’s pretty versatile I think. FM was the other synth engine I chose.
I mainly used the same drum kit (I think it was called Future Tech or something). I did use an extra one, but can’t remember which.
Unfortunately, my son’s guinea pigs went totally silent on me, so instead, the track features my pet birds in the forest (field recording outside) 
Weather was so nice, I haven’t worked on my track this week-end 
I’m gonna try to finish it this early week if it’s possible btw
This one has a lot of experimental/noise/craziness, but there are some nice parts in there. Used a ton of slumps, audio of my french bulldog, tons of drums, and one other synth I can't remember (maybe DNA or DRWAVE). Anyways nice battle idea! Looking forward to hearing what others did with it!

I myself made a track too! Almost on time (it was finished yesterday really ; )
So I used slump and DBox and one of the new drumkits, give you the name later… Astro had a short appearance too! Njan Nja in Japanese.
The additional outer gear was my record player with the BDP samples, cause recently I had the pleasure to meet Mr KRS 1 personally, such a cool guy and a hero of my youth! Enjoy!

Thank you @mixrasta I’m currently working on it, a bit hard to mix, but I hope to finish it tonight.
I’ve finally finished, my brain’s gone out of my head !
I used 2 Slumps, 1 for the lead ARP and 1 lighter string.
I’ve exclusively used the Deep Africa drums, at the beginning I wanted to add the nervosity of “Berlin”, but i’ve finally kept a lighter drum line.
I added 2 JU-06 melody lines, the guitar like and the string (directly sampled on tape).
As I’ve no pet atm, I’ve used my girl voice and mine too, freaky ! Sampled on the drum sampler with and H2N.
