Has anyone tried the Behringer RD-9?
Besides the OP-1, and Akai MPD-218, and a bunch of iOS apps, I’ve never owned a drum machine. Seeing the Jeff Mills Exhibition video on the 909 and hearing the sounds and the reviews has me GASing for a hardware machine like this to perform with.
Any thoughts?

P.S. The monkey Finger Sequencer on the OP-1 is always fun, but I don’t think you could do anything approaching the 909/RD-9 for improvised live performance.
