Can OP1-field use a sustain petal (midi cc 64)? Are there any walkarounds?

One key reason for me to purchase the op1-field is to turn my midi-keyboard to a super digital piano, which I can learn classical on. But can’t find a solution for the sustain pedal after some research.

Is it just impossible? Can it be look forwarded in future updates? Are there any light weight walkaround?
I just brought mine and I’m new to it, it’s really annoying to open the laptop every time before practicing.

Hi I just tried using a sustain pedal with my microkey Air wirelessly connected to op1f and it didn’t work…

That’s the same for the original OP-1 and always has been. Just one more obvious feature TE has decided to omit for no apparent reason.

Spoke with customer service and they told me we might see it in a future update! Would be awesome!
