Fwends!
1/Could you please tell me if I can use the charger for iphone 5 to charge op-1?
2/Is the output stereo? I have small stereo jack to big stereo jack cable going into my mixer but my tape sounds mono (no panning)?
Please help.
Hi1/ Any decent usb charger is fine2/ The output jack is stereo but each of the 4 tracks are monoYou can pan each track tho (mixer page - press shift and turn encoder to pan)The only things that outputs true stereo is the master record (vinyl page) and spring reverb effectYou might want to browse the forum for some tips and tricks to work around these limitationsmany great ideas here
Thank you. I have searched for these questions/topics here but haven't found any answers. Any usb charger? Surely not, it should be 5v, me thinks. Re: audio out-I have panned 2 tracks on my tape to left/right and there are almost not audible on my mixer, while the tracks which are "in the middle" are fine. Just like you would be talking to an idiot; for OUTput should I have a mono or stereo cable going into the mixer? Many thanks.
Ok, I have found a guy who is using a 3.5mm stereo jack on one end and 2x 6.3 mono jacks on the other end. Would it matter if it was 3.5mm to 6.3 stereo?
USB chargers are 5V (a few oddball 5.1V and 5.2V out there…)
@KrisM yeah it just happened to me. i’ve used my iphone charger and once the charging stopped I have switched on the Op-1 to check on the charge and shows only 2-3 leds. Wtf?
My OP-1 stopped at 1-2 LEDs when charging and off, but slowly climbed to four if I left it powered on while charging. It stayed at 4 max for several hours and never stopped charging, so I might try and leave it overnight. The charging circuits should keep it from overcharging at any rate.
Hi there, I’ve got the same issue, charging stopped and only got 3 leds on…It’s the second time I’m charging the op-1.
When I unplug/replug the op-1, it seems to be full charged, because all leds are blinking…
I’m trying to let it plugged to see what happens.
Is it normal? How long do you have to wait to get it full charged ?
Hi there, I've got the same issue, charging stopped and only got 3 leds on...It's the second time I'm charging the op-1.what I do is I disconnect the usb cable from the op1, then I switch it on, check the battery level, switch off, the usb in and it continues to charge. I'm hoping the 22/1 will bring some good news for op-1 users.

Mine does that all the time @quarantequatre. I found a USB port on my new computer that gets it to fill up all the way eventually, though. Not really noticing differences in amount of use from 3 LEDs or 5, it’s just the wonky battery meter being buggy as all hell and not liking certain USB ports. For some reason.

Same here. When charging through my laptop’s usb, it always fills up the leds.
Have you guys ever checked if the 5-led(full battery) really hold up fpr 16h?
No I haven’t… And I doubt it will.
But I did leave my op on accidentally the other night for 8hrs after I fully charged it and the battery indicator was flashing is it was almost flat, but then I did play on it for another 2 hours before I decided to charge it.
