Choir Arranger app available

Hey all, if any of you own the Choir dolls, I spent the week building a mac (Tahoe+) app that makes it easier to arrange songs in LIVE mode. I started with a piano roll and phoneme editing, but also made a composer where you can just write and it can try and extract phonemes right from lyrics. It does have an AI feature (lyric styles) but its fully local on your mac. No apis or internet required. This is why Tahoe is required as you have access to your macs Foundation LLM.

I started in english, but also added swedish phoneme support. Swedish seems to work well, but I only know what claude tells me when it comes to that. Thanks to Choirama for their initial research.

If you have the Choir and a mac running Tahoe give it a try and let me know how it works

This is cool, I think! Any chance you can do a little demonstration video, for those of us who maybe don’t have Tahoe, or maybe even don’t have choir dolls? Would love to just see an action, cheers!

+1 - video or it never happened. :)))

love this, downloaded it but i gues i don’t have tahoe+ on my mac. would love to see a video if you ever have a chance to make one!

any chance this could happen in the way where the AI doesn’t need to be on the Mac, to let users I don’t have Tahoe try it out?

Try 1.0 which should work for mac OS 13+. It is only a piano roll, but has a lot of the basic controls.
I might look into making the phoneme converter work for pre-tahoe. It’s the probably the biggest helper and it doesn’t use AI.

Fantastic! My choir has been idle for months and it looks like you have made them relevant again. TE seems to have given up on them, so this is really, really appreciated. They should give you a medal
