Remembering last years album creation, also reminded me about the extra time we needed to do the worx. Do you feel like creating an album again this year?

Rather than doing an album full of Christmas carols (which although was fun is a bit limited and could be cheesey) what about just an album of songs from forum members and the money goes to something like a kids charity?
Anyone know a tape or cd distributor we could even put something physical out there rather than just a download.

@spacetravelmadeeasy Love the idea to monetise it and give to the needed. Although Christmas is cheesy if you want it to be cheesy I can think of a construction which you select both a well known royalty free christmas song (we have a list of that I remember) and a genre or an other inspirational song and do a mashup of them. Christmas for me is that one time in the year when you can listen to Wham

The Twoism forum (http://www.twoism.org/forum/index.php) has now reached compilation 6 of their One on Twoism release series by forum members. I’ve been on two, and the quality has been high. Forum Admin Aesthetics has always compiled and mixed the albums really well. Maybe we could do similar for operator1 members?
As for physical releases, I think Aesthetics used Kunaki CD pressing before, not sure which company did it for the most recent Volume 6. Basically the clients (us, in this case) submit mastered files for audio and artwork, and choose artwork/packaging options. Then the buyer orders direct from the pressing plant and the CD is sent straight to the buyer.
