Has anyone else tried connecting op1f over usb to mc101 for audio and midi? Midi works fine. Audio works but there are unpredictable single crackles about every 2 to 10 seconds. Its annoying because this is a great match, and I’d rather not resort to 3.5mm audio cable (it needs ground loop isolator in the middle too, so it’s bulk on the sofa…)
To make this more peculiar I think it’s particularly a problem when sending midi notes to the mc101. Playing the mc101 sounds on the mc101 keyboard over usb audio into the op1f I’ve rarely had a crackle. Playing the same mc101 sounds with the op1f keyboard over usb midi I get cracked6 on usb audio in.
Sigh!
I really really would like to get this figured out but I think its just a compatibility issue right now. I have the same problems with my Roland E4 vocal tweaker… i would be so thrilled to use the sounds over usb but the crackling kills it. I tried turning off usb charging and that did not help. I tried changing the midi in and out settings on both devices and that did not help. So far I havent figured out a solution other than to just go into the audio input.
Hopefully the usb audio interface is updated a bit in the future
I get pops and crackles when I use the tx-6 or op-1 field going into a iPhone or iPad through iPad. Shouldn’t have these issues with all the money we’ve spent. Typical TE behavior.
I’m a little disappointed with the op-z freezing the op-1f over USB C
(I haven’t had crackling issues thankfully)
