Crossfade looping and loop fading on OP-1 Field?

Hello.

Apologies if these questions have been answered but couldn’t find using the search.

I’ve got an original OP-1 and considering getting a Field.

Does the Field do crossfading on sample loops?

And does it allow for loops to continue after a key has been released, or does it do what the original does and just “play out” the part of the sample after the loop points?

Yes there is a fade out option for samples when using the synth engine. Also the sample can loop between a start and end point when holding down a key.
