Deleting punch in effects from single track

Can anyone help with this? I was unable to find the answer in the manual.

If you record punch ins to a track (using left half of the keyboard, so it does not apply to all), and then do that on a bunch of tracks, how do you easily clear all punch ins from a single track? The performance track will be full and if you clear that step off, you’ll be losing the punch ins from everything else too.

Shift + step + target + loop + fx sets it

Same sequencing of entry… shift + step + target + step again. Delete it

Isn’t this scenario one where you only use step components as needed per track, and then punch in fx where you want all tracks included since they bundle up on the performance track?
