Here’s an odd question for you… Did Monotribes suddenly become rare? I was looking at eBay and there are none listed besides new ones. A few used Volcas, but yeah, no Monotribes. Are people scooping them up for some reason?

I think people have just been more into Volcas, other small modules, and the plethora of iPad music apps we have now. The monotribes had their hype days, and perhaps most people who were looking to sell theirs already did within the last few years, while the ones that loved it don’t want to sell. Just my hypothesis.
Also, the Monotribe is still listed on Korg’s official website, and most music stores online I use have them in stock so I’m not sure if they are out of production yet. Korg tends to remove old products from the site (which is what happened with the old Electribes)

I’ve checked baxshop, thomann and some others and it says monotribe’s not available anymore 
Then I make a question: does the Monotribe survived the hype? Is it worth the production? I never used one, but wasn´t never atracted, although I love the Monotrons.
The Monotribe is a decent bit of kit but I guess its been superseded by the Volca range. Everything is pointing towards them being discontinued aside from Korg’s own website.
I’m quite certain they’ve been discontinued. Some months ago I was considering getting one too.

Ahh, I see. I am in Canada so perhaps the music stores around here just have a few kicking around then.
i love my monotribe. with the midi mod its a great analog monosynth. the sequencer is also loads of fun.
once i have my modular up and running ti will be redudant for me though.

@aeoner I am thinking of buying a 2nd MT and I don’t own a VokcaBass yet.The sound is gnarley on tribe and its capable.I like a lot.
